Like most people during the first month of the year, I spent January trying to get my life back together after the holidays. I’ve organized, I’ve cleaned, I’ve worked, I’ve done some art, I’ve made some cocktails… You know, the “time to get back into the swing of things” type of month. I’m excited to share a new monthly favorites blog post for the month of January. In this post, you’ll find my new favorite kitchen accessory, morning routine essential, what I’m reading, and more!
My January Monthly Favorites:
We got the Always Pan as a gift for Christmas as absolutely LOVE it. It’s a multipurpose pan that replaces eight other pieces of cookware in your kitchen including your frying pan, steamer, spatula, skillet, and more. It comes in aesthetically pleasing colors and has officially become my favorite kitchen item we own! Grab yours from Our Place here.
This puffer has been a lifesaver on cold morning dog walks and winters in Big Bear. It is VERY warm and perfect for keeping cozy on a snow day or as a cute and functional outerwear option. It features a wind- and water-resistant fabric with a double closer, fleece-lined pockets, and a drawstring waistline. It’s normally $240 and is currently 70% off! Buy it here.
I bought The Five Minute Journal at the beginning of 2021 when I was seeking out a more productive morning routine. This journal is meant to increase your overall happiness by sparking inspiration, gratitude, and awareness based on the events that happen throughout the day. It’s also a fun way to journal and feels a little more intentional than starting every day with a blank page. Highly recommend this journal! Order yours here.
I got my hands on some copper mugs just in time to make this month’s low carb cocktail: Jalapeño Ginger Mules! These mugs are perfect for any type of Moscow Mule and come with four copper straws, handmade wooden coasters, and a copper shot glass. Grab these mugs here.
WHAT I’M READING THIS MONTH!
I’m currently reading In The Company of Women by Grace Bonney (a fellow type 1 diabetic!). This book is a compilation of interviews with women who have started their own businesses and are thriving in life doing what they love to do. It is overwhelmingly inspiring and has truly helped me to navigate some aspects of starting my own business. Order your copy here.
