Since another month has flown by, (can you believe that October is almost over?) it’s time to share my October favorite things!
Over the past month, I’ve been enjoying a few items that have made my October days a little more enjoyable. These items range from closet must-haves, holiday hosting accessories, and one of my favorite new books! Here are my five favorites for the month of October:
Wooden Cheeseboard Perfect for entertaining

Okay, I got this cheeseboard for my birthday from my mom and I LOVE IT. She also has one and must have been getting annoyed by my incessant begging to use hers anytime I was making a charcuterie board. It comes in multiple sizes and is perfect to hold all of your favorite cheeses, meats, and berries anytime you’re hosting friends or family this holiday season.

Cute Scrunchies – they are back people!!

I love adding a scrunchie to my hair when I am in need of another accessory and it’s so fun to elevate your outfit with a pop of color. These scrunchies are my new favorite brand and offer so many colors, styles, and even sizes (the giant ones are SO cute). Look out for their official launch, next Tuesday, October 27th!

My Favorite “No-Makeup” Makeup Product

This CC Cream is my favorite everyday makeup “foundation”. Its oil-free matte formula is perfect for balancing out my skin and feels light and refreshing, rather than cakey. I also love that it has SPF in it!

The Best Lululemon Align Legging Dupe

When I tell you that these are the closest thing I’ve ever found to Lululemon Align Leggings, I am not kidding you! They are high waisted, buttery soft, and VERY flattering. They are also a third of the price… I’ve been living in these all month long and have already bought them in three colors lol.

WHAT IM READING THIS MONTH

I’m going to start incorporating a book recommendation into each of my monthly favorite blogs! This month is one of my new favorite books: Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid. I read this entire book in one sitting and was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Such a Fun Age is a New York Times Bestseller and part of Reese’s Book Club, which is originally what drew me to this book. The story begins as a young black woman is accused of kidnapping while babysitting a white child. As it unfolds, we discover underlying secrets, a surprising connection, and a deeper look into race and privilege in America.

Stay tuned for a new list of five favorites next month. In the meantime, check out my September Monthly Favorites for five more items that I’m loving. See you next month for more!
