hi friends! ~ Thank you for following along with 🍊 Cup of Oj + my fresh take on living with Type 1 Diabetes! For those newbies, i wanted to take a little time to tell you about myself. - My name is Ariana and I live in Las Vegas, NV. - I’ve had type 1 diabetes for 15 years. I am currently on MDI (multiple daily injections) 💉 with an insulin pen to manage blood sugar, and use a @dexcom to track my sugar levels. - I try to live a low carb life during the week. (the weekend is obviously more fun 😛) - I started my blog, Cup of Oj 🍊, in September as a way to share my 15 years of type 1 insight, share tips and tricks i’ve learned along the way, discover new things and grow into a healthier and more knowledgeable diabetic. - I have a 7 year old pug named mazie with an out of control tongue. - My hobbies include: 🌿 plants, yoga/working out, painting 🎨 (which I haven’t had the most time to do recently), spending time with my loved ones, and traveling! (and pugs but I felt like that was obvious). - Some of my blog topics include: low carb starbucks ☕️ options, trader joe grocery hauls, dating with diabetes, what i’ve learned after 15 years of diabetes, diabetes + music festivals, how to cut carbohydrates 🥖 & more!
